Magnet Atlas Electronic Signature: TOPAZ Hardware SigWeb SDK Integration or Active Directory electronic signature.

As a new user of Magnet Atlas specifically in the screens where exhibit handling is carried out we would like to submit the idea whereby Magnet integrate the Topaz SigWeb SDK into the product. This would allow the Magnet Atlas web application to use a USB Electronic Signature Pad from Topaz to capture the signature. Our main exhibit handling is done by an administrative person and at a reception desk. This would be useful when the investigator drops off the exhibit to the digital forensics unit. Also this would be useful in the laboratory spaces also; however please not in the UK this wouldnt need to be witnessed so a second signature is not compulsory. FYI NicheRMS which is widely adopted by UK policing as a crime records management system captures electronic signature by signing with active directory credentials. When you move an exhibit you authenticate with your AD account password and this puts an electronic signature in the audit log this was validated with electronic credentials. This would be another way to achieve this.
