The MAGNET Exhibit Builder project was closed in the Idea Lab on December 8th, 2023. Thank you for your interest and participation project! MAGNET Exhibit Builder is a desktop tool allowing Magnet AXIOM and AXIOM CYBER users to tell the story of their digital forensic findings in a free form report generation tool. MAGNET Exhibit Builder combines forensic data from AXIOM and AXIOM Cyber case files with free form word processing tools, allowing users to easily compile their findings alongside their relevance to a case into a single comprehensive report that can be provided to stakeholders.
MAGNET Exhibit Builder is in active development, and we are releasing a limited beta available exclusively to Idea Lab members. Due to capacity limitations, we will only be able to accept a limited number of users into each phase of the beta.
With MAGNET Exhibit Builder you can:
- Import artifact data from any number of AXIOM case files including Portable Cases.
- Choose which tagged items from the case you wish to include in your report.
- Drag and drop artifact details directly into your report, maintaining the integrity of the forensic data.
- Include picture previews for media-based artifacts.
- Quickly find the artifacts you need by leveraging integrated search and sort capabilities.
- Drag and drop device summary details into your report to provide key details about the evidence being examined.
- Customize which fields you wish to include in your report for each artifact.
- Add your own details to the report using a rich word processing toolkit containing all the features found in leading document editors.
- Import and append pictures and external documents such as PDF reports from other tools to support your findings.
- Easily copy and paste to and from other editing tools such as Microsoft Word.
- Export your final report to PDF for sharing with other stakeholders.
Features Coming Soon:
- Create report templates to easily generate consistent reports for your stakeholders.
- Annotate your report with included shape tools. For example, highlight a key fragment of evidence using an arrow or box directly within your report.
